Progress that holds after the hardest part is over.
Lev Eliyahu measures success in ordinary things: a lease signed, a job kept, a chavrusa held, a Shabbos hosted, a phone call made to a mentor instead of to a dealer.
How we measureWe report what we can stand behind: the homes that stay open, the relationships that continue, and the daily steps a person takes toward independence.
Six things that change.
01
A door that is always open
The Shops are open in the evenings in central Yerushalayim. Dinner, company, and staff who know each person by name — available night after night, with no application and no expiry date.
02
Somewhere to live while life steadies
Supportive homes give young adults stable surroundings, routine, and shared responsibility — the conditions under which work, learning, and healthy relationships become possible again.
03
Professional support, not improvisation
Licensed clinicians, case management, group therapy, and therapy subsidies when they are needed, alongside mentorship and Torah connection.
04
Work, skills, and independence
Employment assistance, job and apartment placement, and life-skills development, so progress translates into an independent life rather than ongoing dependence.
05
Giving, not only receiving
Through Giving Heart, participants show up for other people — hospital visits, old-age homes, food packing — and come to see themselves as contributors.
06
Relationships that outlast the program
Staff, mentors, and friendships built at Lev Eliyahu continue well past any particular program. That continuity is the point.
Voices from Lev Eliyahu
Every girl is truly cared for. From our classes to weekly one-on-one sessions that help guide us in life and move forward. The staff truly believe in us and never give up on us, even when we doubt ourselves. They help us grow, heal, and discover our potential.

This program gave me a safe place to grow, without judgment or doubt. I was supported as I figured out who I am and what I want, while being trusted to make my own decisions. Along the way, I found lifelong friends and mentors who genuinely care. — Miriam N., The Lighthouse
The house is a place where I can come home to every night, with supportive staff and classes, where we take responsibility for ourselves. We get to live together in an environment where everyone is looking to grow and be the best version of themselves. It's a place I can call home. — Shaindy K., The Lighthouse
